It works, however not with the power to adjust the thickness is a huge bummer. The cash would had been better spent towards the regulateable machine. I then ended up ordering the alterable machine (make certain to order the Adjustable Insert Carrier 3200-649) for french fries (Adjustable French Fry Insert 3200-651) and for slicing (Adjustable Slicing Insert 3200-650).

The pieces of potato are somewhat short, so it would not seem like restaurant french fries, but it worked beautiful well. I did sweet potatoes and cooked them within the oven. Be sure to not over lap on the baking sheet.
